Mixare uses the current position of the user as provided by the device (including, but not limited to GPS) as well as the camera and several user configurable online services (including, but not limited to i.e. wikipedia.org).
The camera is only used locally to display the user surroundings with the information obtained by the online services superimposed (also known as “Augmented Reality”). The images obtained by the camera are not stored nor sent by the application. The current user position is shared with the online services that the user has enabled within the app. The usage of this information is not controlled nor influenced by the app.
